About BreArb
Michael Brear has been a tree surgeon since graduating in Arboriculture from Myerscough College in 2007. He worked for one of the region’s largest specialist companies for 14 years, as lead tree surgeon and lead climber, to a senior position, managing multi-skilled staff and projects of all sizes on a daily basis.
Michael and his team have experience across every type of tree work: Removals, reductions and replacements; working at extreme heights, through dense conifer hedges, across multi-acre building sites, for highways and motorways, on emergency responses, up protected and technical trees, by climbing, by crane, by platform and by the use of heavy machinery, whether addressing a single tree in domestic garden, a dangerous ancient tree in parkland, an overgrown hedge line or a ‘multi challenge’ planned new building site.
Efficient and meticulous
Michael’s work is known for being both efficient and meticulous. Leaving your property tidy and you content is as important to him as making sure the main tree work is carried out in accordance with BS3998.
BreArb is a registered UK company and all work is fully insured and undertaken by Michael and his team. Everyone is fully qualified and has been selected by Michael because their work and attitude to customer care are the same as his. Michael is committed to pushing up standards in arboriculture, training and developing staff to their full potential.

All of BreArb’s work is governed by a detailed Health and Safety at Work policy consistent with FISA* standards and AFAG* obligations. Every project is subject to a detailed Risk Assessment and Method Statement as required by UK H&S protocols. All operating and safety equipment is certified to required BSI standards and additionally governed by our Environmental Policy designed to minimise emissions and waste.
